MEMORABILIA MONDAY: 1979 VIDEO LICENSE PLATE

The song "1979" was released as the second single off the 1995 double-album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The song was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Alternative Video. The video features a third-generation (1971-1974) Dodge Charger with Illinois license plates; although California mountains are visible in the background.
