RESCUE PET OF THE WEEK: CHAMPAGNE

Champagne is a spirited, lively fellow who can't wait to be a part of your family! He is a two-year-old Pekingese mix who arrived to PAWS Chicago from Chicago Animal Care & Control. He has gorgeous golden fur and is fully grown at only 15 pounds. He may be small, but he definitely has big personality! Fun and playful, Champagne loves to spend time with people and is always up for some fun. He spent some time with a foster family, who said he was a "sweet, affectionate dog" and that he loves playing with chew toys and tennis balls. A very clever boy, Champagne has an affinity for learning and excels in obedience classes at PAWS Chicago. He is still learning leash manners, but has been doing very well. He enjoys being with just people, so a home without other animals would be best suited for him.
