Believed to be the first demo cassette that The Metro owner, Joe Shanahan, received is this Maxell UR 90 cassette tape. The 90 minutes cassette is carrying 5 songs only and dated around September 1988. The five songs on the sampler tape are: My Eternity 5:40

Memorabilia Monday: Lull Vinyl Pressing Plates
The Smashing Pumpkins' 1991 release of the Lull EP featured four tracks, "Rhinoceros”, “Blue”, “Slunk” and “Bye June”. Its 12" vinyl release was only pressed in the United Kingdom. Today we feature a rare piece of memorabilia from the Lull EP known as, "pressing plates" or "metal stampers". These pressing plates were used to create the Lull vinyl! Keep collecting!!

Memorabilia Monday: G.L.O.W.
Seven years ago, on November 4th, 2008, Smashing Pumpkins single, "G.L.O.W.", made its debut as a "digital 45", on iTunes. As the first ever "digital 45", for such a release via iTunes, with "Superchrist" as the b-side single, the song was later released for the video game, Guitar Hero World Tour. This week we feature the rare and highly sought after promotional CD single "G.L.O.W.". With a rumored pressing of only 100. Rare promotional items like this continue to grow in v
