As the Siamese Dream album just celebrated its anniversary, we focus on Siamese Dream and cassette tapes. Cassette tapes remain one of the last representatives of analog recording formats that provide collectors an opportunity to own a physical release. Even though cassette tape collecting is becoming more popular, the technology for recording on magnetic tape has existed since 1935.
