RESCUE PET OF THE WEEK: BARNEY

Barney

Calling all Beagle lovers! Barney is a handsome guy who is super affectionate and sweet. He gets along well with his doggy roommates at PAWS Chicago and loves to go for walks with volunteers. He is very smart and knows a variety of commands. Barney is also house trained. True to his breed, he is quite talkative and likes chasing smaller critters. He would love to have someone who appreciates his Beagle personality and will work on training with him. Barney doesn't like to be alone for long periods of time, so he would prefer to find human friends who will be home a lot and can provide him with lots of love and attention.

Interested in meeting Barney? He is available for adoption at the PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center! Please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, email adoptions@pawschicago.org, or visit him at the Adoption Center located at 1997 N Clybourn. Barney would be a great companion at PAWS Chicago’s 15th Annual Run for Their Lives 8K Run and 4K Pet-Friendly Walk! Thousands of animal-loving participants will run, walk, wag or wiggle down to Montrose Harbor on Saturday, June 14th in support of PAWS Chicago’s mission to build a No Kill city.
