SP TRIBUTE SHOW: "MELLON COLLIE UNPLUGGED: 20 YEARS OF INFINITE SADNESS" SAN FRANCISCO 4/8

TONIGHT APRIL 8th: A SMASHING PUMPKINS TRIBUTE SHOW IN SAN FRANCISCO "MELLON COLLIE UNPLUGGED: 20 YEARS OF INFINITE SADNESS"

On April 8th, San Francisco's own Mark Nelsen (Mark Nelsen & The Mutiny/ Electric Shepherd) will be hosting and conducting an ensemble tribute concert commemorating the 20th Anniversary of The Smashing Pumpkins’ seminal 1995 double album, “Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness”.

“Mellon Collie Unplugged: 20 Years of Infinite Sadness”will reinterpret the softer, more acoustic compositions from the 28-song Billy Corgan-penned opus, but will also feature some deep cuts and heavy surprises. Led by such classic tunes like "1979", "Tonight, Tonight" and "Thirty Three", the concert will be half the length of the original album, while feeling just as epic and all the more intimate. It will also feature concept visuals, collectable programs, an art installation, and a special solo performance of original music by Bay Area singer/songwriter Zachary Blizzard (Cannons & Clouds).
