Twenty-five years ago this month, Smashing Pumpkins released their second single, Tristessa, on Sub Pop Records. In the United States, Tristessa was released as a 7” vinyl single. Glitterhouse Records, a Sub Pop subsidiary, also released a German 12” version that included an extra song, "Honeyspider", which was not made available on the US pressing.
Over the years, Sub Pop Records have become extremely collectible. This limited release by Smashing Pumpkins is a "must have" for collectors of Smashing Pumpkins and Sub Pop releases alike, making it our feature for this weeks Memorabilia Monday!
